Kershaw R.A.M 1910

The Kershaw R.A.M. features black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handles with G-10 overlays and a Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel blade is bead blast finished with a plain edge. Give the blade a push with the spine stud and the knife opens smoothly - or use the dual thumb studs. The R.A.M. features the Hawk Lock, which slides to release the blade. Reversible pocket clip included.

Blade Magazine honored the R.A.M. as 2007's Most Innovative American Design. All R.A.M. (Restraint Articulated Mechanism) models open with the Flipper ambidextrous manual opening system or the built-in thumb studs. Yet when a knife is this bold, safety is a key consideration. That's where the R.A.M.'s Hawk-Lock comes in. The patent-pending Hawk-Lock keeps the R.A.M.'s blade safely locked into position for use, and releases easily for closing. Once the blade is open, the Hawk-Lock automatically locks it into position. When you're ready to close the blade, pull the Hawk-Lock slider back toward the knife butt and fold the blade in. Simplicity itself.
